Richard FitzRalph

Introduction

The FitzRalph Critical Edition Project brings together an international team of scholars with the aim of producing the first edition of Richard FitzRalph's Lectura in Sententias, one of the most significant texts produced in Oxford in the early 1330s.  FitzRalph's Lectura in Sententias was the focal point for discussion by a number of outstanding thinkers at a time when Oxford was a rival to Paris as the centre of European thought and the text continued to be quoted and discussed throughout the fourteenth century and beyond.
